Sciton® BBL™ BroadBand Light – Phototherapy
BBL BroadBand Light technology utilizes the power of pulsed light to deliver excellent phototherapy results. The light energy delivered by the BBL gently heats the upper layers of the skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas coagulates tissue to variable depth. This process helps restore the skin to its natural stage. In addition, the photothermal energy targets and eliminates many of the fine vessels that cause redness and the unwanted melanin responsible for pigmented lesions.
Sciton® ClearScan™ – Laser Hair Reduction
Laser or light energy is selectively absorbed by the melanin in hair follicles and converted to heat, diffusing to and injuring stem cells in the bulb and bulge. Effective hair reduction can only be achieved during the active growth phase and hair reduction is considered permanent when a significant amount of hair does not return for a period of time longer than the complete growth cycle. After a series of treatments, most hair is permanently removed. However, if hair does regrow it will be finer and lighter than before.

Either procedure allows patients to experience quick recovery with smoother, healthier, more vibrant skin, and an immediate change in skin texture and tightness.
Sciton® ProFractional Therapy™
As we age, the effects of sun damage and environmental pollutants take their toll on our skin, causing it to wrinkle, develop sun spots and look tired. A Sciton skin resurfacing procedure can reverse these effects and restore a healthy look to the skin. There are two approaches to resurfacing: full field, and fractional. In full field resurfacing, the entire surface area of the skin is treated. A laser beam is scanned across the treatment area and precisely removes a layer of skin. The body will naturally replace the old, damaged skin that was removed, with a fresh, healthy layer. Treatments can range from shallow (which might be appropriate for eliminating fine lines, sun spots and tired-looking skin) to deep (which is often used to improve skin tone/texture and eliminate deep wrinkles, even in difficult areas like upper lip lines and crow’s feet). In fractional resurfacing, the laser removes pinpoint columns of skin, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This approach allows the laser to controllably ablate and coagulate tissue to variable depth, while the surrounding intact tissue promotes rapid healing.
Sciton® SkinTyte™ – Skin Firming
SkinTyte™ utilizes infrared energy to deeply heat soft tissue while protecting the entire treated area with sapphire contact cooling. Targeted heating causes soft tissue coagulation and collagen contraction. This process initiates the body’s natural healing process, resulting in a firmer, more youthful skin appearance. The full effect of skin firming treatments can be seen over several subsequent months.
Sction® Clear Sense™
ClearSense™ is used for warts and for Onychomycosis also known as nail fungus. Nail fungus is prevalent worldwide and up until now, has had very limited, ineffective, and undesirable treatment options. These options include topical antifungal creams that cannot penetrate the nail adequately to completely eradicate fungus, oral antifungals that are hepatotoxic, or permanent removal of the nail. A typical treatment for all ten toes is 15-20 minutes; practitioners enjoy an efficient patient throughput.
